XBM5774 SERIES is a highly integrated protection chip designed to protect 4 to 7-cell lithium-ion or lithium polymer batteries. It can reduce risk of battery damage or shortened life. XBM5774 SERIES provides overcharge, over-discharge, charge-discharge over current, open-wire, charge-discharge over temperature protection, battery cell balance functions for the battery pack, and supports chip stack usage. The charge over/ under-temperature protection threshold and discharge over/ under-temperature protection threshold of XBM5774 SERIES can be set independently through external resistors.
